Well I've been home 2 weeks and tomorrow I'm flying to Memphis to meet my brother then we're driving to Minnesota, then I fly back from Minnesota. He wants me to help him with something.
At the farm I've been catching up on the farm duties, mowing, fixing fences, cutting brush. Had some friends over who have two girls, 7 and 15 years old. They rode the horses and I took them on a ATV ride behind the creek, on boy, and they learned to drive the tractor. They had a blast.

Sounds like you two had an awesome time! O had showed me the white water rafting pics a few weeks ago when I was home in between camping trips. Unbelievable!!! Those definitely looked like class IV rapids!!!! Hay Caramba!!

My mom has gone to Costa Rica twice!! So you must know now why she has gone twice. I've never been but I guess I'll have to bump it up on the list.
I'm glad you both really enjoyed yourselves and you're home safe. I'm sure it's good to be home too.

I finished up camping yesterday. We cut our trip short by one week. 5 weeks total in the tent this summer. The kids said they had had enough and they missed Steve. So we are home for 2-3 days to drop off camping equipment, wash cloths and head out to NYC for a week or so with Steve. He has to stay there until Sept. 11th because his brother is away on vacation.
Just catching up on e-mail, registering the kids for some classes, etc.
Did you hear I actually met the object of my obsession - Kiefer Sutherland TWICE in one week!!! I couldn't believe it!! It was awesome and he is a very nice person.
I do plan to find a band to play with this fall/winter for a nice diversion. Still really enjoying my drums. Hope to find a good band that is rehearsing once a week and has several gigs a year. That ought to satisfy me.
So that's all for me. I haven't blogged in a long time. You are a real inspiration to me keeping up with your writing. You do it very well! You should write a book someday!
Even if I never really get back to blogging, I should at least post on finally meeting Kiefer Sutherland!! Post pics too!

Campimg for 5 weeks in a tent! That's something.
White water rafting was very intense and the best. You can see how much Alicia enjoyed it cause she is smiling the whole time.
